Screening at Comic Con

The schedule for the Comic Con was released today and it was so cool to see ROTZ listed. We'll keep you all updated while we are there. In the meantime we are doing everything we can to prep. Burning more DVD's, creating cool costumes, practicing weird make-up, getting business cards (please note that cool costumes come before business cards).

Catching Up

In the past few months Rise of the Zerad has been busy screening at festivals and winning awards. Most recently you could have seen ROTZ at:

--Northwest Animation Festival

--Phoenix Comic Con (won Best in Festival)

--Newport Film Festival

--Alburquerque Comics in Film Festival (won Best Director and Best Original Score)

--Savannanh International Animation Festival (won Audience Choice Award)

--Orlando Film Festival (won Best Animated Film)

We have been having a blast especially at the comic conventions where fans come out in droves! And seriously, who can't love dressing up and selling a cool movie :)

And most recently, we have been accepted in the film festival at Comic Con in San Diego!

ROTZ to be screened at the Torpedo Factory

So while we did not get into the Alexandria Festival in Virginia, ROTZ received an honorable mention award and was offered to the Torpedo Factory for screening. The Torpedo Factory is an art gallery in Alexandria, Virginia that provides classes in claymation so they were excited to get to use the film.

Headed to Orlando in a Week

Only a week before we take off for Orlando! The Festival released the nomination results and we got the Best Animation Nomination (so we are basically biting our nails until next Sunday when the award ceremony is!).

Please pray for travel safety while we travel and for us to make the right connections. Hopefully we'll get to post some pictures from the event while we are there :)
